About
Jennifer
I’m the wife (and now the mother). I’m stubborn and fiercely opinionated. I’m fluent in sarcasm which you should remember when reading the majority of my posts. When I’m not working (at home!) and not parenting, I love to cook and play photographer and blog, hence why you’re here. I’ve been a huge Philadelphia sports fan for as long as I can remember; so much so that I almost cried when the Phillies won the World Series in 2008 and almost didn’t cry at my wedding three weeks later. I’m also a military wife, which has allowed me to meet some amazing people and have some great and empowering experiences.
The idea for the blog name came up after my sisters-in-law constantly referring to me as “my brother’s wife” and for some reason it still goes on today.
Tim
He’s my husband (and baby daddy). He has an interesting sense of humor that constantly keeps me laughing. Living in our house is like a constant stand-up show. Tim has served with the Army Reserves for the last sixteen years and swears he’ll retire as soon as he hits twenty years of service but I know better. When Tim isn’t talking to me or the baby in a zombie voice, he tries to stay in shape by running and doing other work outs. Currently he’s training to complete the 2011 Tough Mudder event in Englishtown, NJ this November.
Sophia
She’s our daughter. She’s an infant and doesn’t have too many interests outside the house although she does love a good car ride. Her days mostly consist of eating, sleeping, peeing, pooping, eating, eating, pooping, pooping, pooping and sleeping some more. She likes a good cuddle and her favorite colors are black and white.
Sampson and Ares
If you’ve ever seen a small child spin round and round and then try to walk, the disoriented gait they have is what Ares is like all the time. He’s special. Sampson on the other hand is an evil genius and if he had thumbs he’d surely take over the world. It’s like an episode of Pinky and the Brain everyday in our house with these two.
