15 Facts

Gina over at The Feminist Breeder invited her readers to link up a post with fifteen facts about their kids right now. Even at seven and a half months old I was amazed that I could come up with fifteen things about Sophia.
- Impatience, thy name is Sophia. She is incredibly impatient with everything. If she’s in the high chair she wants food now; if she doesn’t pull up on the first try she doesn’t want to do it again. I have no idea where she gets it from….
- She is a morning person and not a night person. This is kind of a double edged sword for us because we are neither morning nor night people, we’re afternoon people for sure.
- She snorts when she gets incredibly excited. Like full on Urkel level snorting. It’s adorable.
- Her comedic timing is perfect.
- Her stomach knows no depth. She just eats and eats and eats. And she’s not a picky eater either; I think carrots are the only food she positively does not like.
- She loves her little friend at daycare. She practically jumps out of Tim’s arms every morning so she can get down to play with her.
- She has a thing for male newscasters; when they’re on TV she smiles and chirps excitedly.
- She is a chatterbox already. We know she’s trying to tell us something we just don’t understand it yet.
- Her favorite toys are anything she can bang together.
- Don’t stack her toys on top of one another…she’ll just knock them down.
- She has zero desire to crawl; she wants to walk and wants to walk now.
- There is nothing more fun to her than mom or dad popping out from behind a corner and yelling “Boo!” She loves to be surprised.
- She likes to rough house with us. I’ve seen her intentionally jump on Tim while she’s in bed with us on a weekend morning.
- She loves the cats.

She is just so damn cute!

Thanks! I find myself saying “You’re so cute” over and over throughout the day. If nothing else, she’ll be confident.
